Speaking to IANS on June 12, 2016, the television Diva told that she has been married for quite some time, and it was an arranged marriage conducted with the consent of the couple’s parents.

Deepak is working as an executive for a leading Sports channel.

The copy of the controversial Hindi movie “Udta Punjab” starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles, has been leaked online and was uploaded on social media sites one day before the release.

According to a report, published in the Times of India dates June 16, 2016, the producers of “Udta Punjab” have filed a complaint with the cyber police.

The Police are also tracing the IP address from which the film was allegedly uploaded.

The movie got all the publicity, good and bad after the India censor board headed by Pahlaj Nihalani suggested a massive 89 cuts.

Later, the video was taken the Revising Committee, which recommended just 13 cuts.

But after the makers refused to release the film with even 13 cuts, they filed a case, and the Mumbai High Court asked the censor board to release the movie with just one cut and to insert three disclaimers before the start.

Indian serials are quite popular in Pakistan, and many television soaps used to get record viewership in the country.

Indian soap opera Yeh Hai Mohabatein from Star Plus is facing ban threat in Pakistan. 

The problems started when the episode on June 01, 2016 was aired. The Pakistan Media Authority alleges that the serial had indecent and obscene scenes.

They believe that the love making scene between the lead pair was so intimate in nature, and it violated the Electronic Media Ordinance 2015.

Close sources to PEMRA revealed that the producers were earlier warned for its scenes, as they telecasted similar content on its April 16 episode.

As per credible news, the channel has been issued a legal notice and they have been asked to give their reply on or before June 18.

If they fail to do so, the authorities will be compelled to take down the production.

The portion which irked Pakistani officials were a bold scene between Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi.

Hearing the prohibition warning, Divyanka replied that there was no nudity in that scene, as her saree was tied tightly.

The actress also added that this serial has hugely following in Pakistan. She hopes that things will be settled soon.

As per Tripathi, this installment is not that kind of cliched Saas Bahu drama. Instead, this is about a woman who is independent but still has that family values.

The controversial film Udta Punjab has been released in theaters on 17 June 2016 amidst tight security. There was a heavy police presence in most Cineplex as a precautionary measure.

According to Hindustan Times, there have been reports of protests in Ludhiana and over 50 Shiv Sena activists were detained.

The response of the audience has been lukewarm for the movie and distributors are disappointed by the first day collections. However, the flick has managed to make an impression on the cine goers.

It was embroiled in a controversy with CBFC who had recommended a whopping 89 cuts and removal of the word Punjab from the film. It was after an intervention by the Mumbai High Court the film could be released.

The opening has been described as average by movie analyst and can rake only Rs 8 to 9 crore on the first day. The movie stars Shahid Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor supported by Diljit Dosanjh was released across 2000 screens in the country.

The troubles for the film did not end, and some portions of the movie were leaked online. The producers have alleged that the leak happened from the CBFC headquarters.

I&B Ministry team visits CBFC office to probe leak

An Information and Broadcasting Ministry Team led by Joint Secretary Sanjay Murthy has visited the Censor Board headquarters to investigate the leaked censor copy of the movie.

Producers of the film worked late into the night to remove the leaked copies from all available Torrent sites which are used to download movies.

The leak is being investigated by the Mumbai Police, which has registered a case under the Copyright and Information Technology Act.

The board chairperson, Pahlaj Nihalani has dismissed claims that the source of the leak was the Censor Board Office.

Remember the ‘Masti’ franchise? If you are waiting for the next sequel of the flick, your wait is over. The first rushes of ‘Grand Grand Masti’ are out.

It will be the third in the ‘Masti’ series. The film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, and Vivek Oberoi. The trio complemented each other and formed a hilarious combination that tickled the audience with their punch lines and performance.

The official trailer for the flick was released on June 16, 2016, along with a couple of posters of the film. The previous edition of the franchise hit the screens in 2004 and 2013.

Riteish is a big name in Marathi film industry and made his debut with Nishikant Kamat’s “Lai Bhaari“. When asked if his Marathi audience will be disappointed with his roles in Hindi films he said that his Marathi film was released just after the release of Grand Masti. As an actor, he would like to do all kinds of roles including comedy.

The trailer depicts the three stars smitten by Urvashi by her beauty, and the catch is the lady they love is a ghost. The flick is being produced under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Maruthi International by Ekta Kapoor, Sammer Nair, Aman Gill and Ashok Thakeria

The first edition was released in 2003 which showed how the trio bored with their married life gets into trouble. Grand Masti was the second edition which was released after a long gap in 2013.

The Finale of the ‘MTV Roadies X4’ was telecast on Sunday 19 June 2016 at seven p.m., and Jalandhar-based Balraj Singh Khehra, a member of Actor Karan Kundra’s gang, was declared the winner.

It was the 13th season and was shot in India and Bhutan. The show was judged by Rannvijay Singh, Karan Kundra, Neha Dhupia and Prince Narula.

Balraj defeated Gaurav and Navdeesh and clinched a swanky new Renault Duster as the first prize. He had a tough battle from teammates Gaurav and Navdeesh from Prince’s team.

The three contestants who made it to the finals had to battle out the elements of nature, of Earth, Wind, Water and Fire to complete the challenge.

Ironically it was a tough fight for the winner, and he was eliminated in the previous round only to return as a wild card entry.

In a statement, Judge Karan described the winner as one who remained on the top after his wild card entry. He also was in all praise for the other two competitors also.

Describing his win, Balraj said that winning is not everything but the only thing, the greatest thing which has happened to him and he thanked the Almighty for ensuring his success.

His win could serve as a stepping stone for a big career in Bollywood. The winner has expressed his desire to compete in the Big Boss 10 next episode.
